Analyze The Causes of Liquid Leakage In Plate Heat Exchangers
During the use of plate heat exchangers, various problems inevitably arise. A large portion of these problems are caused by improper fabrication, incorrect selection, and estimation errors, as well as due to the aging of its components.
Reasons for liquid leakage:
1. Due to improper selection of plates, cracks or perforation may occur due to plate corrosion.
2. The operating conditions of the plate heat exchanger do not meet the design requirements.
3. The residual stress after cold stamping of the plate and the small clamping size during assembly cause stress corrosion.
4. There is a slight leakage at the leakage groove of the plate, causing the concentration of harmful substances in the medium to corrode the plate and form a liquid leakage.
